Saw 1-4

Post by VioletVenom on Wed Aug 13, 2008 9:44 pm

Have you ever thought it was mildly messed up that people enjoy a movie like Saw? I think it's desensitizing it's viewers the people who go to the movies and and cheer it on and think it's the coolest thing they've ever seen. Maybe it's the awe effect and I'm not suggesting they would cheer something on like so in real life, but it makes me wonder if they'd have the same reaction to witnessing some guy's head getting decapitated if a movie like Saw has never existed.

I'm one of those people who like the real life gore, but not the movies. *shrug* It's just how I am.

I'm the same as idiot (sorry, I'm not sure what else to call you Razz)

I would pass. out. hard. if anything happened like that in reality. I mean hell, I get light headed when I hear the word "needle" at a doctor's office, hahaha. EVEN IF IT'S NOT FOR ME!

I watched the first 2, and they were decent, but I think they're overrated for sure. Beyond it all was the message that life is important, but it is kinda disturbing how people love sadistic violence.

But we all have a dark side Razz

I'm not against the movies, but I think they're just kinda...meh. Not for me.

I think it is funny/ sweet as hell.

How? Maybe because you've never seen something as gruesome lie that before, but if you enjoy it how do you think you would react in real life if you saw someithng like that?
